Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan

Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan is a famous, ancient and classical formula specifically used for disturbed 'shen ' spirit. It is the most clinically used formula for preventing insomnia and is often the basis in the formation of other versions. One of the main herbs in this formula is made up of Rehmannia which helps to nourish the blood and yin, while cooling blood heat. This formula contains no heavy minerals to subdue yang and is intended for heat and spirit conditions marked by blood and yin deficiency with heat. According to Chinese medicine, heat agitates the heart, causing palpitations which will cause a rise of yang and heat to the brain creating insomnia and anxiety.

Indications: This formula is helpful in preventing palpitations, anxiety, restlessness, uneasiness, insomnia, poor memory, poor concentration, constipation, ulcerations in the mouth and tongue, rheumatic heart disease, neurasthenia, and menopausal symptoms.
